About The Role

Slavens Construction Inc is seeking hardworking and reliable construction workers for general applications. These positions are for individuals at various experience levels who are eager to contribute to a variety of construction projects. The ideal candidates are team players with a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and a willingness to learn and grow with our company.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing construction sites by cleaning debris and setting up materials and equipment.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors and assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, plumbers, and electricians.
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches, backfilling holes, and mixing and pouring materials.
  • Build or dismantle temporary structures, such as scaffolding, barricades, and bracing.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project.
